EDITIONS

Thoughtful Christian writing, developed with care and brought into the world with purpose.

For Christian Authors
01 — THE HOUSE

Good books deserve careful work.

Newberry Editions exists to develop and publish Christian writing with purpose, conviction, and professional care.

The house begins with the books of Matthew Newberry, but the vision is broader than one author. Newberry Editions is being prepared as a place where Christian writers can find another perspective on their work, practical publishing guidance, and thoughtful collaboration when a project calls for it.

Not every manuscript needs the same kind of help. Sometimes an author needs another set of eyes. Sometimes a manuscript needs structural development. Sometimes the author simply needs someone who has already walked through the publishing process and can help make the path clearer.

01 — PURPOSE

Faithful

Christian conviction is not an afterthought. The work begins with what the author believes, why the work matters, and who it is intended to serve.

02 — CRAFT

Careful

Ideas deserve development. Structure, language, pacing, argument, clarity, and presentation all matter when a manuscript becomes a book.

03 — PARTNERSHIP

Collaborative

The author remains the author. The goal is to strengthen the work without erasing the voice that made it worth developing.

For Christian authors.

Have a manuscript, an idea, or a work that is not quite where you want it to be?

Newberry Editions is prepared to have conversations with Christian writers who want to develop meaningful work. That conversation may involve a manuscript that needs another perspective, a book that needs structural development, or an author who needs practical guidance before deciding what comes next.

This is not a promise that every project will be published. It is an invitation to begin a thoughtful conversation about the work itself, the intended reader, the author's goals, and whether Newberry Editions is the right place to help.

There is no manuscript-upload system on this website. Do not send a full manuscript through the contact form. Begin with a description of the project and what kind of help or collaboration you are looking for. If additional material is appropriate, it can be requested directly.

01

Start with the idea.

Tell us what you are writing, why you are writing it, who it is for, and where the project currently stands.

02

Talk about the work.

We can discuss the manuscript, its purpose, its strengths, and the areas where you believe it needs development or guidance.

03

Determine the relationship.

Depending on the project, the next step may be advising, editorial collaboration, development, or a conversation about publication.

04

Build the finished work.

If there is a fit, the work proceeds deliberately, with clear expectations about the manuscript, editorial process, production, and publishing path.

The house behind the books.

Newberry Editions is part of the broader Newberry family of work. The publishing house gives books and collaborative projects a home while allowing individual authors and works to retain their own identity.

Matthew Newberry is the first author represented through the house. His work centers on Christian discipleship, biblical manhood, spiritual responsibility, and the ordinary, difficult work of following Christ faithfully.

As Newberry Editions develops, the intention is to work with other Christian writers whose projects fit the purpose and standards of the house. That may include first-time authors, experienced writers, ministry leaders, and people who simply have a manuscript that deserves serious attention.

For authors, begin with the project rather than sending the manuscript. Tell us what you are writing, where you are in the process, and what you believe you need.

Please do not upload or paste a complete manuscript into this form. Newberry Editions does not accept manuscript files through the website. If we need to review additional material, we will tell you what to send and how to send it.
